I think there is a common misconception with (some) boudoir photography. There is definitely something a little dangerous about it, yes, but the main goal of my photoshoots is not to be overly sexual. You will be in little to no clothing (totally up to you!), but only to celebrate your body and everything it has done for you.
The female body is just. so. beautiful. and as women we tend to want to hide rather than showcase. Every woman I have shot with leaves her photo shoot feeling so much better than when she came in. I’ll admit, I have never had anyone tell me that my work is inspirational until now and it feels pretty amazing to hear.
I’m working toward breaking down the stigma that surrounds boudoir photography, especially when we live in a smaller city where everyone knows everyone.
Here’s the thing – your body is beautiful, whatever shape, size, color it may be. It’s beautiful right now, as is, and I want to help you recognize that. If you’re anything like me, you may even have someone in your life telling you you’re beautiful and you might not be seeing it. Chances are, when you look in the mirror you focus on the one negative thing rather than all the beauty that other people see.
I would love to be able to work with you, to highlight your best features. Let’s work on loving ourselves and being inspiring (because who are we to get in the way of inspiration?!)
